Nine-week refurb to start at Waitrose in Kenilworth
By James Smith 23rd Aug 2026
Nine weeks of refurbishment works are due to start at Kenilworth's Waitrose today (August 23).
The major makeover will take place while the supermarket remains open, and will run until late October.
"Get ready to do some shopping upgrades because your favourite store is getting a spectacular refurb," the business said.
"That's right – we're giving the place a fresh new look for you.
"And the best part? We're not closing our doors.
"You can still grab all your essentials whilst we work our magic."
The project is due to finish on Friday 23 October.
Waitrose has not revealed exact details of what will change at the town centre shop.
Work has also started on a refurb of the shop's car park, with that project due to last for three months.
The business was granted planning permission for new signs, and other external works earlier this year.
Nationally, Waitrose has announced it will refurbish 30 stores across the country this year as part of a £1 billion, multi-year investment programme.
