New road revealed as Burton Green road reopens after seven months

Motorists have returned to a busy Burton Green road which was closed for seven months for HS2 works.
Cromwell Lane has been hit by a swathe of closures over the past few years as works on the Burton Green green tunnel continue.
The latest works began in April and extended until Sunday (11 October), having been due to finish at the end of August.
Over the past few months, HS2 has been working to bring the road back to its original alignment.
Now open again, the road now has a give way heading towards Coventry.

Temporary fencing remains around the bridge as HS2 works continue on either side.
While Cromwell Lane has reopened, a section of the nearby Kenilworth Greenway has been diverted until November 23.
This is to create "a minor amendment to the existing diversion" of the greenway.
When the closure of Cromwell Lane was extended, HS2 also started longer working hours as the project backed up.
But now the road - which has been shut since April 7 - will remain closed until Sunday 11 October.
HS2 blamed the delay on "uncharted services" being discovered as well as "inaccuracies in asset owners' records" meaning more services had to be diverted.
