HS2 is changing its working times at a Burton Green Road, nearly three months into a five-month closure.

Cromwell Lane shut once again on Tuesday 7 April between the junctions with Red Lane and Hodgetts Lane.

The 24/7 closure will last until Sunday 30 August.

HS2 has now shared an update for the latter stages of the works.

From Monday 29 June 2026, working times will be: Monday to Thursday 8am to 9pm, Friday to Sunday 8am to 6pm.

"We will carry out a final programme of utility connections, reinstate the road and complete the highway surfacing, ready to return Cromwell Lane to the original alignment," HS2 said.

Residents have been told to expect "increased levels of construction activity and some disruption to your travel times".

"Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained throughout the work with a fully signed diversion route," the public notice added.

A diversion will be in place.

The closure comes as Dalehouse Lane in Kenilworth remains shut for 14 month.
