Police have released an appeal for information after a woman was hit by a car in Kenilworth last weekend.
Nub News reported earlier this week that a woman was left with "serious head injuries" after the incident on Warwick Road on Saturday 10 October.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 2.42pm before the woman was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
Now, Warwickshire Police is asking for anybody with information to come forward.
"We're appealing for witnesses following a collision outside Robert Dyas in Kenilworth on Saturday afternoon (10 October)," a force statement said.
"Emergency services were called to Warwick Road at around 2.45pm to a collision between the driver of a car (a Silver VW Passat) and a pedestrian.
"The pedestrian, a woman in her early 60s, received serious head injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance where she is currently receiving treatment.
"If anyone witnessed the collision, please call 101 quoting incident number 194 of 10 October."
An air ambulance was also called to the scene as well as two ambulances.
"The woman received trauma care on scene before being conveyed by land ambulance on blue lights and sirens to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further emergency care," a West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said.
