A Punjabi grill and sizzler restaurant in Kenilworth held a successful relaunch event this week to mark a new management team taking over just weeks after the business opened.

Hot Tava welcomed guests for the first time at the start of November, with the eatery fully booked over its first weekend.

Formerly Ciao Bella, the restaurant has been completely transformed by owners Amarjit and Jess Kullar, promising to appeal to the 'Instagram generation'.

However, on Monday (December 18) the Abbey End restaurant welcomed friends and selected media to a 'relaunch night', with a new management team now in place.

Mayor of Kenilworth Cllr Alix Dearing was also in attendance, as Hot Tava officially began its next chapter.

"You've spoken, we've listened," the team said.

"After receiving some great feedback lately, we have made some wonderful changes here at Hot Tava including a completely new menu, an award winning chef and a brand new kitchen team.

"We're very excited to welcome you all through our doors once again!"

Brothers Amarjit and Kullar, who also own Lil Greens, spent around six months renovating the restaurant this year.

Before Hot Tava opened in November, the duo said they wanted to create somewhere different to anywhere else in town.

And with the successful relaunch event on Monday a chance for the new team to show off their new vision, the restaurant says it has "certainly turned things around".

"Special thanks to the Mayor of Kenilworth, Cllr Alix Dearing, for attending our taster event on Monday evening," the team added.

"We had a wonderful time!

"And thank you to everyone else who attended and tagged us in fantastic pictures from the evening!"
