A new Turkish eatery in Kenilworth has applied for permission to sell alcohol.

Turkish Kitchen on Warwick Road has submitted an application to Warwick District Council.

If approved, the licence would allow the eatery to sell alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 11am to 11pm.

The restaurant, which opened this spring, opens between those times seven days a week.

The application says a CCTV system is installed on site and staff will be trained on the challenge 25 policy

A sign requesting customers leave quietly to respect neighbours will also be in place.

Locals have until April 15 to comment.

See the application here.
