A new gym and martial arts academy has opened at a former carpet showroom in Kenilworth.

CrossFit Time Keeper & Turbo Martial Arts Academy, on Farmer Ward Road, was officially opened by Mayor of Kenilworth Cllr Sam Louden-Cooke at the start of April.

The event saw a range of classes and events on offer, to give locals a taste of what is to come at the new fitness centre.

The gym has opened in the former Kenilworth Carpets showroom - which closed at the end of last year - aiming to bring a range of new classes and training methods to the town.

The coaching team explained: "CrossFit Time Keeper and Turbo Martial arts academy opened on April 1, bringing the sport and training methods of CrossFit to Kenilworth. Offering group functional fitness training, personal training and sports specific sessions.

"Turbo Martial arts academy specialises in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and runs wrestling and kick-boxing classes.

"It's perfect for beginners and for athletes wanting to join their successful fight team."
