Nearly 200 acres of "productive arable land" on the edge of Kenilworth has been put on the market with agent Howkins & Harrison.

The grade three land off Rouncil Lane is available for £2,350,000.

"The land comprises an extensive ring-fenced block of productive arable land extending to 194.27 acres (78.62 hectares) or thereabouts," the advert says.

"The land is grade three and according to the Soil Survey of England and Wales, the soils are of the Hodnet and Rivington 1 soil types which are both loamy soils.

"There is a mobile phone mast and associated electricity cabinet on the land and the seller wishes to retain the freehold ownership of these."

Howkins & Harrison also says the land is in a higher-level stewardship scheme which expires on 31 October 2028.

The seller will be planting one acre with a "pollen and nectar seed mix" this spring.

The land has a small gate off Rouncil Lane, and is just round the corner from Faerie Tale Alpacas.
