The M42 has now fully reopened in South Warwickshire following a crash involving multiple vehicles this morning (December 10).

National Highways had reported the closure of the northbound carriageway between J3 and J3A (M40).

Emergency services and traffic officers were at the scene trying to clear the carriageway.

There were delays of up to 45 minutes on the approach.

But an update said: "The vehicles involved in the earlier collision on the M42 northbound between J3 (Redditch) and J3A ( M42/M40 ) have now been cleared to the hard shoulder.

"Recovery has been arranged and en route.

"There are residual delays of less than 15 minutes on the approach."
