Much-loved Kenilworth Scout Post to go ahead this year

By James Smith 5th Aug 2021

The ever-popular Kenilworth Scout Post is to go ahead this year, much to the delight of the people of the town.

Organised by the 4th Kenilworth Scout Group, the traditional local Christmas card collection and delivery service will still take place this year, with collections running from tomorrow (December 5) until Friday, December 18.

Collection points can be found at:

Farthing Gallery – High Street

GDT Automobiles – Caesar Road

Leyes Lane Pharmacy – Leyes Lane

Kenilworth Books – Talisman Square

Steve Crowe Butchers – Whitemoor Road

All Sanits Church – Leek Wootton

In addition to this, the scout group will also be in Talisman Square on Saturday, December 12 and Saturday, December 19 from 9am – 3pm to collect cards before the final delivery.

The scouts are asking for a 25p donation per card, and to minimise the risk of spreading Covid-19 no change will be given this year.
