This is the moment a bungling car thief runs over a police officer's foot after being caught red-handed - just one mile away from the crime scene.
Terrance Hannefin, 36, pinched the car after it had been left running on a driveway to heat up during last week's cold snap.
He stole the car in Wroxall Close, Binley but only got as far as Alex Grierson Close - just one mile away - before being caught by cops on January 4.
Bodycam footage shows officers approach the driver's side window and confront Hannefin who refused to get out.
In chaotic scenes, Hannefin reversed at speed, dragging one of the officer's along the road and driving over the other cop's foot.
Both officers were taken to hospital for their injuries.
Hannefin dumped the stolen car nearby and was arrested at home later that day.
He admitted theft of a motor vehicle, theft from a shop, two assaults on police officers and driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
On January 6 he was jailed for 16 weeks at Coventry Magistrates' Court.
Appearing before magistrates on 6 January, he pleaded guilty and was jailed for 16 weeks.
