Centre manager Holly Hewitt is set to leave the Kenilworth Centre at the end of April.

Holly, who has been at the Abbey End community centre for four years, is leaving to take up a new post in Coventry.

The charity's trustees have thanked the "huge contribution" she has made to the lives of people in Kenilworth.

"Obviously we're delighted for Holly with this move but hugely disappointed to be losing her after all that she's done in Kenilworth in the past few years," said tKC chair Cllr Richard Dickson.

"But this is a very exciting opportunity for her in Coventry.

"Holly's made a huge contribution to community life in Kenilworth, especially during the Covid-19 health pandemic, with all the events that take place at tKC and in promoting Radio Abbey."

The Trustees will be starting a formal recruitment process for Holly's successor as soon as possible and details will be available from tKC in the next two weeks.

Anyone interested in this role is asked to get in touch with the centre here: [email protected]
