Man threatens customers with needles as he steals from Kenilworth Boots

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a man threatened customers as he robbed Boots in Kenilworth on Saturday.

The man is reported to have forced open the fragrance cabinet and stolen the contents in the Talisman Square shop, before threatening people that he would attack them with needles.

He then fled in a car which was waiting nearby.

Police are asking for the public to help identify the man.

A Warwickshire Police statement said: "The offender is reported to have forced open the fragrance cabinet and stolen the contents.

"On the way out of the shop the offender claimed he had needles and made threats to attack people with them if they came any closer.

"The offender made off in a car that was waiting for him nearby.

"It happened at Boots in Talisman Square at around 1.30pm on Saturday (22 January)."
