Man charged with four burglaries in Kenilworth from last weekend

A man has been charged with four counts of burglary from Kenilworth over the weekend.

Daniel Stewart, 33, of Crescent Avenue, Coventry has been charged with burglaries in Bertie Road, Queens Road and Bridge Street.

The burglaries were all overnight on Saturday 12 June - Sunday 13 June. He was arrested yesterday morning (Tuesday, June 15).

Electrical equipment, jewellery, clothing, money and alcohol were stolen were stolen during the incidents.

He has also been charged with one count of taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, having been arrested for a car key burglary in Arthur Street on 6 June.

He will appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court today.

A Warwickshire Police statement said: "Daniel Stewart, 33, of Crescent Avenue, Coventry was arrested yesterday morning (Tuesday 15 June) and later charged with four counts of burglary and one count of taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent."
