Major delays on M42 due to broken down vehicle

Motorists are being warned to avoid the M42 where one of three lanes is closed northbound.
The lane is shut between junctions six (Birmingham Airport) and seven (Coleshill) due to a broken down vehicle.
National Highways said there are 45 minute delays on approach and six miles of queues.
"Please allow extra time," a statement said.
Recovery is en-route to the scene.
