By James Smith 22nd May 2026
The centuries are set to be rolled back in Abbey Fields this weekend as a 'Living History Afternoon' comes to Kenilworth.
Run by Kenilworth Town Council, the Sunday (May 24) event will feature a host of medieval themed activities.
Free to attend, the event will run from 2pm to 5pm.
"Bring the whole family and join us for our 'Living History Afternoon' this Sunday, 24 May 2026, in Abbey Fields," the council said.
"An exciting visitor experience has landed and you are invited to quite the afternoon of discovery!"

The day will feature:
- Characters in Costume
- Horse & Cart Rides
- Medicinal Leeches
- Practise your quill writing
- Fun & Games
- Chanting with the Canons
- Dress up in real 1500s costumes
- Medieval Talks
There will also be guided tours of the Kenilworth Revealed AR experience which was launched by the council earlier this year.
The app gives a virtual experience of how the abbey would have looked 500 years ago.
