Lapworth man pleads guilty after Counter Terrorism bust

A man from Warwickshire has admitted to posting material online to stir up hatred after an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands.
Thomas Webster from Lapworth appeared before Coventry Magistrates Court yesterday (5 August).
The 29-year-old admitted ten counts of posting material online using threatening words or behaviour intended to stir up racial hatred.
He also pleaded guilty to posting material online using threatening words or behaviour which was intended to stir up hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation, and a further offence of posting material online using threatening words or behaviour intended to stir up hatred on the grounds of religion.
He is due to be appear at Warwick Crown Court on 2 September for sentencing.
