The annual Kenilworth Scout Post is set to return to the town this Christmas.

Having extended into Hill Wootton, Stoneleigh and Ashow for 2021, last year some 9,000 cards were posted locally.

Organised by 4th Kenilworth Scout Group, this year's collection will run until December 17 with deliveries starting the next day.

Collection boxes will be placed at businesses across the town from the end of November and the scouts will also be taking cards for delivery in Talisman Square on Saturday 3, 10 and 17 December from 9.30am – 3.30pm.

The cost per card is 30p - less than half the price of a second class stamp.

Organisers said: "We are very appreciative of the support and encouragement of Kenilworth Town Council and of the collection points, and of our many supporters in the town.

"We continue to operate the service safely and efficiently for all involved, hence the collection points will not have change available - excess payments are treated as donations."

From the end of November cards can be posted at:

  • Kenilworth Books
  • GDT Automobiles
  • Steve Crowe Butchers
  • Farthing Gallery & Tearoom
  • Leyes Lane Pharmacy +
  • All Saints Church, Leek Wootton
  • Village clubs in Stoneleigh & Ashow
