A Kenilworth rugby player will feature in the final of MasterChef this week, where she will be pitted against three other home cooks all aiming to be crowned the series 19 champion.
Terri Fearon, 30, has made it through to the final round of the hit BBC One cooking show, which will be played out over three episodes this week.
The first show - which airs at 9pm on BBC One tonight (May 30) - will see the contestants head to Istanbul.
But viewers will have to wait until Thursday's show (June 1) to find out who has won the series.
Ahead of the final, assistant management accountant Terri said: "Finding out I'm through to the finals feels like I'm having an out of body experience! I'm not sure it will ever sink in that I'm a MasterChef finalist.
"Being a fan of the show, I remember all of the finalists through the years and to think that I have joined that list of amazing cooks is unreal."
Having first discovered her love for cooking as a child, Terri had left the idea of a career in food behind, before taking the plunge to send in an application for this year's show.
"My dad was a chef and I had always thought I would follow in his footsteps a bit," she told Nub News ahead of last week's semi-finals.
"But then I realised quite early on in my teenage years, it wasn't quite the glamorous career that I thought it was. I made the decision instead to go to university and never looked back, really."
She added: "I am also a massive MasterChef fan, and I watch all sorts of cooking shows.
"I would sit on the sofa and say what I would make in an invention test. I was really good at being a sofa critic, but not so much at putting my money where my mouth is!
"But then I decided to fill in an application one day, I never really thought anything would come of it but I am very grateful that it did."
Terri, who plays as a prop for Kenilworth Women's Rugby team, last week came through the semi-finals which included the series' first team challenge.
The contestants had just three and a half hours to cook and serve a feast for 120 of the emergency responders and trainers at the Fire Service College in Gloucestershire.
Then the contestants headed back to the studio for the final task to create a breakfast that tasted like desert, where Terri created a sweet version of eggs and soldiers.
"What the show does is it makes you learn things yourself quite quickly," she said last week.
"You do learn it all yourself, it's not like John and Greg teach you how to cook.
"It's so intense that you go home and you're researching new recipes and trying new techniques and listening to podcasts. It encompasses your whole life.
"You end up in this loop of self learning to up your game, to get through the next round and to keep up with the other contestants as well."
And ahead of the final she says she would love to continue to develop her career in the industry.
"It would be amazing to carry on cooking and use this opportunity to forge a career in the food industry," she said.
"I would also really love to cook for Grace Dent.
"I listen to her podcast and love the idea of simple, satisfying food. There doesn't have to be bells and whistles for something to be delicious and that resonates with me."
MasterChef will air on BBC One at 9pm on Tuesday 30 May, with the following episodes at 8pm on both Wednesday 31 and Thursday 1 June.
