Kenilworth residents are being invited for their flu vaccines and Covid-19 booster jabs.

Kenilworth and Warwick Primary Care Network is hoping to contact patients over the age of 65 by the end of this week to book an appointment.

Patients who had their second Covid jabs over six months ago will also be invited for boosters.

Both vaccines will be administered at the Ramada Hotel, Chesford Bridge and patients will be contacted by phone, text or letter to arrange their appointment.

Those eligible will be able to have the two injections at the same time, or separately if they wish.

All housebound patients are due to have their flu vaccinations by the end of next week.

A Castle Medical Centre spokesperson said: "Please only call the practice when you receive an invite, we have staggered invites to not overwhelmed our telephone lines.

"Call waiting times might be increased during this time so we ask that you have patience and are kind to our reception staff."

Walk-in flu clinics will also be hosted at the Ramada Hotel, details of which can be found on the Abbey Medical Centre Facebook page.
