Every Thursday we will now bring you our top picks of the events in our What's On section for the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1. Kenilworth RFC vs Lichfield

Kenilworth 1st XV will host Lichfield in a top of the table clash.

Both sides are promotion hopefuls, having finished 2nd and 3rd respectively last time around.

2. Weekend Wellington at The Almanack

The Abbey End pub is hosting the first set of its 'Weekend Wellington' evenings this weekend.

"This Autumn, indulge in our succulent Beef Fillet Wellington, paired perfectly with Creamy Mash, Spinach & Red Wine Jus."

And meat free options available as well.

Starting from October 7, this will run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until the beginning of November.

3. Mobile Chattybus comes to Beauchamp Road

The Mobile Warm Hub currently visits Beauchamp Road in Kenilworth on Friday mornings between 10am and 12pm, with volunteers providing local residents with free tea, coffee and biscuits as well as some company.

Run by charities Warwickshire Rural Community Council (WRCC) and VASA, the project is sponsored by gas distribution network Cadent Gas.
