A man was caught by a police dog as he made off on foot following a police chase that started near Kenilworth.

Warwickshire Police's Operational Police Unit spotted the car on the A452 after it had previously failed to stop for Coventry Police Officers.

The vehicle also failed to stop for the Warwickshire force and was chased along the A46 until it stopped near London Road.

The passenger ran off on foot but was apprehended by PD Koko nearby.

A force spokesperson said: "An amount of drugs and cash were found in his possession, so he was arrested.

"The driver had no insurance and tested positive on a roadside drug test for cannabis and cocaine, so he was arrested too."
