Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
More School Places
Detailed plans have been revealed for a £6 million project that will see nearly 200 extra places created at a Kenilworth primary school over the next seven years.
Warwickshire County Council (WCC) last year signed off on the budget for the works at St John's Primary School and Nursery, following a public consultation.
Now the local authority has put forward a planning application which will see three major extensions built at the Mortimer Road school to make it two-form entry.

Woodside Hotel
Kenilworth Town Council (KTC) has once again objected to plans to demolish the Woodside Hotel to make way for a block of flats and 43 houses.
Councillors last year raised a number of concerns around developer Vistry's previous plans for the Glasshouse Lane site, before the planning application was rejected by Warwick District Council (WDC).
District planners had recommended the previous scheme be approved, but the planning committee unanimously refused to grant permission.
Vistry has now resubmitted its previous application - but with an additional energy and sustainability statement.
But KTC has once again objected to the development, again raising a number of issues with the scheme.

Demolition Underway
Demolition works have begun at Warwick Hospital as work to create a brand new entrance and elective hub continue.
South Warwickshire University NHS Trust (SWFT) announced this week the first of the buildings have started to be knocked down to make way for the major new development.
Demolition work started on March 18, with photographs taken over the past few days showing the fast progress to date.
-------------
A46 Bridge
Designs for a new bridge to carry the A64 over the new HS2 line near Kenilworth have been signed off.
The high speed rail developer says the dual carriageway will be closed for just 10 days to install the structure, which will mostly be built alongside the road before being slid into place.
Warwick District Council planners have now given the green light to the plans for the A46 Kenilworth Bypass Overbridge.
