Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
School's Future
Prior approval has been given for the former Kenilworth School site at Leyes Lane to be demolished.
Homes England submitted the plans in December, which have now been approved.
A separate application to develop the land into 224 homes has also been submitted but a decision is yet to be made by planners at Warwick District Council.
Care Home House
Plans to build a house in the gardens of a Kenilworth care home have resurfaced nearly four years after they were previously refused.
A planning application for the home at Kenilworth Manor Nursing Home has been submitted by Clarendon Care Services Ltd.
In 2022 an application for a four-bed house and dementia garden at the Thickthorn Close site was thrown out by Warwick District Council.
Cocktail Bar's Future
The latest planning application for a former Kenilworth cocktail bar has been approved by Warwick District Council.
Planners have given permission to remove the old signs and install new ones at The Kenilworth.
This is the latest step as the bar on Warwick Road is converted into an 'aparthotel'.
Permission was last year signed off for the building to be turned partly into a house and partly into an aparthotel.
