Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Pub's Paintjob
A pub landlord is being threatened with legal action by his "bully" council for having a giant bull painted on the side of his 400-year-old inn.
Martin Peel paid a local artist £1,200 to have the 8ft mural emblazoned on the side of The Bull's Head.
The artwork was finished in April and Mr Peel says it was a big hit with visitors to the pub in the pretty village of Wootton Wawen.

HS2's New Bridge
HS2 has been given the green light for a 78-metre-long bridge to carry Crackley Lane over the new rail line.
The HS2 Act decreed the bridge would happen at some point, but now aspects of the design have been signed off.
Crackley Lane will be diverted near the junction with Cryfield Grange Road as part of the works, which will see the road carried over a new cutting.

Dog Walking Dashed
Senior councillors have given their backing to revamping a local playground by leasing land.
Officers had recommended land at The Oakley Housing Estate in Fen End were leased so the play area could be revamped.
The proposal was discussed at the latest meeting of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council's cabinet.
