Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Power Station Plans
A former airfield power station could still be turned into a modern five-bedroom home, if planning permission is extended by the council.
Plans to convert the disused building in Fen End were given the green light in 2021 but have not been carried out due to "personal circumstances".
When permission was granted to convert the former wartime power station - which powered the nearby Honiley Airfield - into a house with integral garage, the applicant was only given until May 24 2024 to begin the works.

HS2 Bridge
Designs for a new bridge which will carry Kenilworth Road over the HS2 line have been signed off by district planners.
The high speed rail developer has been given the green light for its plans for the 54 metre long bridge, which will span the already approved Kenilworth cutting to the north of the town.
Plans show the bridge will cause a slight realignment of the road, and will raise the height of the carriageway to allow trains to pass underneath.

Homes Unhappiness
Town councillors have objected to detailed plans for 143 new houses in Kenilworth, listing a series of concerns about the development.
Persimmon Homes has submitted the reserved matters application for the next phase of its Thickthorn development.
Full planning permission has already been granted for the first 98 homes along Leamington Road, which are already under construction and some on the market.
