The manager of a Kenilworth nursery has said she is "delighted" with the results of a recent inspection from a government watchdog.
Ofsted has released its latest report into Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool following a routine inspection earlier this year.
The Beehive Hill nursery was given a rating of 'expected standard' - the middle tier of assessment - in all six key areas under review.
The six areas are: achievement, behavioural attitudes and establishing routines, children's welfare and wellbeing, curriculum and teaching, inclusion and leadership and governance.
Positively, the report said: "Children are warmly welcomed as they arrive, by staff who know them well.
"They demonstrate that they feel safe and secure in their surroundings as they eagerly rush to take part in the activities that are available to them.
"Children who are a little unsure receive caring and sensitive interactions from staff to help them settle.
"Overall, children forge positive relationships with others. They generally play happily alongside their friends and involve them in their games."
Inspectors said attention should be given to supporting temporary staff, monitoring behaviour to "minimise the impact that it occasionally has on others" and working to improve children's independence.
"Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who face barriers to their learning, receive positive support to enable them to take part in activities," the report continued.
"Children develop their communication and language skills.
"Even the youngest children are able to successfully make their needs known.
"Children thoroughly enjoy looking at books and reading stories.
"They join in singing and action rhymes with vigour and enthusiasm, which further enhances their communication."
Emma, nursery manager, said: "We are delighted that Ofsted has recognised the positive culture at Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool.
"The report highlights the dedication of our team and the nurturing environment they create, where children feel safe, secure and supported to thrive.
"We are particularly proud that inspectors recognised the positive role modelling of our staff and leaders, which helps children grow in confidence and build strong relationships.
"We set ourselves high standards and will continue to build on the strengths identified by Ofsted as we strive to provide the very best care and learning experiences for every child."
