A local gym is calling for ladies to come and try a complimentary workout with a specialist coach, with its 'March Madness' offer.

Curves Kenilworth, at Talisman Square, is a unique gym designed for women.

The Curves 30-minute full body workout can help you burn as many as 480 calories in one session.

The circuit workout is designed to build muscle and take you in and out of cardio and fat burning in just 30 minutes.

Workouts can be tailored to people of all abilities and any age, from those looking to increase mobility and flexibility to those wanting to lose weight and increase muscle mass or to reshape their body.

"The best way to understand our incredible and unique gym is to come and try us out," said Jane Westrope, Curves Kenilworth owner.

"Don't like it don't join. Its as simple as that!

"If you are passing, drop in and have a look around. We would be delighted to take you on a tour and explain the Curves concept."

The complimentary workout will be one-to-one with a Curves coach, who will explain how the hydraulic machines work with resistance and how to then add in body resistance exercises on the recovery stations.

This will be followed by a stretching session on Curves' stretch apparatus.

Each session will last around 30 to 45 minutes as the coach will take time to explain each machine.

Having been a member herself for 12 years, Jane took over the Kenilworth gym in January 2020 saying it was the only sort of gym she wanted to run.

"I love what it does for women and the total support it provides for them," she added.

"I get that there are a lot of people out there who don't like exercising, and there are a lot of girls and ladies that don't feel comfortable in gyms, even me as a personal trainer sometimes felt uncomfortable in other gyms.

"And a lot of ladies feel uneasy in a conventional gym often not knowing what to do, feeling embarrassed about their figure, feeling too old etc. Curves is different. Members feel comfortable in our gym. No one needs to feel embarrassed or worried when they exercise.

The gym is also extending its no-contract membership for March (image via Curves Kenilworth)

"All members get the support the require when they need it. We care.

"We really are a very lovely community at Curves, like a family. The support the members have given me and my team during the Covid crisis has been astounding."

To book a complimentary workout please call Curves on 01926 853000 or visit Curves, 1st Floor Talisman Square. Opening hours are 7am-2pm and 4pm-6.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 8am-12noon.

Curves is also extending its no-contract membership for March; £39 a month without a 12 month contract commitment. This is usually priced at £52 a month.

All new members receive five one-to-one personal training sessions and a range of complimentary and discounted services within their membership.
