A Kenilworth footpath is set to be disrupted for another two years for HS2 works.
K29 is set to be diverted from Wednesday 31 December 2025 until Friday 31 December 2027, having already been rerouted since 2023.
The announcement comes as works along Dalehouse Lane began to ramp up.
The busy road into town will eventually close for 14 months as it is diverted over a new bridge, under which the HS2 line will pass.
A public notice said: "As we continue to progress the construction of structures between Dalehouse Lane and the A46 Kenilworth Bypass, we need to temporarily divert Public Right of Way K29 (Coventry Way/Centenary Way) around our work site.
"The diversion will be in place from Wednesday 31 December 2025 until Friday 31 December 2027.
"Pedestrians will still be able to safely navigate through the area by using the clearly signposted diversion."
HS2 originally said K29 would only be diverted until 31 December 2025.
The 100-mile Centenary Way starts at Kingsbury Water Park in the north of Warwickshire and makes its way down to Upper Quinton on the Gloucestershire border.
HS2 has already been given the green light for another 76 metre footbridge which will carry the footpath over the rail line.
