A section of public right of way near Kenilworth Golf Club is set to be diverted for over two years to make way for HS2 works.

The high speed rail developer has announced that part of the Centenary Way (K29) will be moved from 15 May 2023 until 31 December 2025.

The footpath is being moved around New Kingswood Farm while construction between Dalehouse Lane and the A46 progresses.

"Pedestrians will still be able to safely navigate through the area by using the clearly signposted diverted footpath as illustrated in the map," HS2 said.

The 100-mile Centenary Way starts at Kingsbury Water Park in the north of Warwickshire and makes its way down to Upper Quinton on the Gloucestershire border.

Town councillors have also recently revealed that Dalehouse Lane is likely to be closed for over a year while the new bridge is built.

More information on the diversion can be found here.
