Kenilworth firefighters were called to an office fire yesterday (September 24), following a day of multiple incidents.

Crews were moved to Stratford Fire Station in the evening as the team there dealt with flooding incidents across the area.

At 10.43pm they were called to a building fire in Long Marston with a crew from Bidford.

"Arriving at the incident first, Kenilworth firefighters entered the building in Breathing Apparatus (BA) and found a severe fire in progress in a two storey office building," a statement said.

"A third fire engine was requested to attend for extra breathing apparatus.

"The third appliance was the on-call appliance from Stratford.

"A total of six BA wearers were used during the incident.

"Nobody was injured during the incident and the cause of the fire is believed to be a faulty electrical appliance."

Over the course of the rest of the day the Kenilworth crews were called to a false alarm in Kenilworth, an incident in Coventry city centre and fire alarms at a sheltered accommodation in Wellesbourne
