Kenilworth Town Council

The town council has hailed an event to boost cycling across Kenilworth last weekend a "huge success".

The town council plans to increase support for local businesses in a bid to prevent more closures across Kenilworth.

A report presented at the most recent Kenilworth Town Council meeting has given an update on all the major housing projects across the town.

A former landfill site around Kenilworth's recycling centre could be turned into a public space, if a new town council project is successful.

Warwick District Council

The Green-Labour coalition in charge of Warwick District Council resisted calls to reconsider the relocation of customer services to the Pump Rooms, Leamington, during a two-hour barrage of criticism. 

Local families look set to be able to use the children's play area in Abbey Fields this summer, while works on the town's new swimming pools continue to be delayed.

A Kenilworth resident says he has been battling local councils for 14 years to make sure they maintain the square outside his home.

A former hunt master, a high sheriff and the 'The grandfather of the Council' from the early 20th century are all set to be remembered in the street names for a new housing estate being built in Kenilworth.

Following the recent dry weather and dropping of the water levels in the lake at Abbey Fields, officers from Warwick District Council (WDC) have been working with a local fishery to remove a number of fish as a precautionary measure.

Warwickshire County Council

Probably the biggest story of the month for the county council was the proposed plans to join the West Midlands Combined Authority. Following a lot of backlash, the plans were shelved.

But Warwickshire County Council says "nothing is off the table" as it considers what to do after putting the plans on ice.

A new plan to guide transport policy across Warwickshire has been adopted despite doubts over whether it will have any impact.

Following the submission of an "overwhelming" number of photographs of Warwickshire's waterways, WCC has shared the winning entries to its recent competition.

A new online parking permit system has now launched for residents.

A new toucan crossing is set to be built on a residential road in Kenilworth to help students travel safely to the new school on Glasshouse Lane.
