The Kenilworth Barn Museum has at last been able to reopen.

The facility in Abbey Fields should be fully open every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday afternoon from April until September.

But "legal problems" at Warwick District Council meant the local attraction was left without electrical connection this spring.

The museum has now confirmed it can reopen.

"The electrical connection to the Kenilworth Barn Museum is finally finished and the Barn is open for the 2026 summer season," volunteers said.

"Browse the compelling story of the Abbey and study intriguing items from Kenilworth's past. Free entry.

"Open every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm until the end of September."

The Barn Museum is run by volunteers from the Kenilworth History & Archaeology Society.

Earlier this year, new cabling was approved to install a "more reliable power supply" to the listed barn.
