HS2 has announced more road closures around Kenilworth for the coming weeks.

Coventry Road will once again have temporary traffic lights installed from March 27 to March 31 as workers divert utilities.

The high speed rail developer said this was necessary "in advance of the new bridge and to maintain site access on the A429".

Temporary traffic lights will be in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm on these dates.

Dalehouse Lane will also be closed from 27 March to 6 April for "trial hole investigation in the carriageway to locate water mains".

Elsewhere there will be multiple stages of closure along Ashow Road and Crewe Lane in Stoneleigh to install new drainage pipes.

The next step of the works will see the full closure of Crewe Lane from the junction of Ashow Road from today (March 13) until March 27.

During this road closure there will also be two-way traffic lights on Ashow Road.

The next phase will run from 27 March to 3 April 2023, with three-way temporary traffic lights at the Junction of Ashow Road and Crewe Lane as drainage is installed in the verges.

And finally there will be two-way temporary traffic lights on Ashow Road between 3 April and 6 April while the drainage is installed in the verge and carriageway.

The news comes just weeks after councillors warned that Dalehouse Lane could be closed for up to a year for HS2 works.
