Green bin collections in Kenilworth have resumed today (Monday, January 10) after been cancelled over Christmas.

Warwick District Council cancelled green bin collections over the festive period to deal with "increased recycling demands", meaning some households have not had a collection since December 20.

Residents had been told to put food waste in their grey bins during this time.

Whilst the service is returning to normal today, WDC is still warning of possible delays due to the pandemic.

A council statement said: "Green bin collections are continuing as normal at the current time.

"However, we may be running behind schedule on occasions, so please leave your green bin out in the normal place until its collected."

You can check your collection times here.
