Glasshouse Lane has closed for two weeks to allow for new speed restricting measures to be installed.

The road will shut near the new Kenilworth School from today (Tuesday, August 8) until Tuesday 22.

The closure, organised by Warwickshire County Council (WCC), will also see part of Leyes Lane closed.

Closures will be in place 24/7.

A notice on the WCC website says: "Works will comprise surfacing works, traffic calming feature installation and lining."

The fortnight closure is part of a wider scheme which will see new cycle lanes, toucan crossings and access roads built.

A 20mph speed zone will also be created in front of the new Kenilworth School, with speed humps and cushions installed.

Three-way traffic lights are already in place along Glasshouse lane and Leyes Lane.

More details can be found on the WCC website.
