A Kenilworth distillery is set to host a 'Gin and Curry' night this March.

East Chase Distillers has teamed up with new South African street food business Bongo Bunee Chow for the event on Friday 22 March.

"Join us for an evening of Gin & Curry right here at our distillery," organisers said.

"The gin (obviously) will be supplied by us, with the food supplied by Bongo Bunee Chow - Homecooked, authentic Indian Curry, with a South African street food twist (see menu for details).

"So what are you waiting for, we cant wait to see you down here!"

ECD was first opened in November 2022 by friends Richie Bartle and Luke Weetman.

Around six years ago, during a discussion in a local bar, Richie and Luke decided to go into business together, spotting a gap in the market and discovering their mutual love for gin.

East Chase Farm, where Luke's family have been for five generations, seemed the perfect venue.

The distillery itself is an old barn which they have completely remodelled into a bespoke distillery, with a mezzanine gallery, marble floors and oak beams all setting the scene for the world–leading Holstein still where they make their spirits.

As well as opening on Friday nights, ECD has also hosted a number of Gin, Tonic & Tales nights where Richie has opened up about his time in the special forces.
