Full details have been announced as the Grand Show returns to Kenilworth for the first time since before the pandemic.

Hosted by Kenilworth Lions, the annual event will see stalls, games, food and drink and live music all set up in Abbey Fields in aid of local charities.

Starting at 12pm, the event will run all day on Saturday, June 11.

Having been cancelled due to the pandemic, last year's show was replaced by a 'Support Charities Day' hosted in Talisman Square in September.

The show is one of the organisation's main fundraising events alongside the Boxing Day Duck Race which also returned over the festive period - albeit on New Year's Day.

This Saturday, afternoon guests will be able to visit a variety of charity and local business stalls, buy food and drink and take part in a raffle.

As well as entertainment on the stage, audiences will be able to see dog shows run by Windmill Pet Supplies.

The five dog show classes are:

  • Lovely Ladies (female dogs over 18 months)
  • Fabulous Fellas (male dogs over 18 months)
  • Golden Oldies (all dogs over nine years)
  • Cutest Pups (dogs under 18 months)
  • Waggiest Tail or Best Trick (open to all)
  • Best in Show (the five winners from above)

And following an afternoon of entertainment there will be live music from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, with a beer tent and food still available.

Music will be provided by:

  • Blues Extra 6:30 – 7:10
  • Jonny Olley 7:30 – 8:10
  • Chain of Fools 8:30 – 9:30
