Glasshouse Lane is set to close for two weeks this August as new speed restricting measures are installed.

The road will shut near the new Kenilworth School from Tuesday, August 8 until Tuesday 22.

The closure, organised by Warwickshire County Council (WCC), will also see part of Leyes Lane closed.

Closures will be in place 24/7.

A notice on the WCC website says: "Works will comprise surfacing works, traffic calming feature installation and lining."

The fortnight closure is part of a wider scheme which will see new cycle lanes, toucan crossings and access roads built.

A 20mph speed zone will also be created in front of the new Kenilworth School, with speed humps and cushions installed.

Three-way traffic lights are already in place along Glasshouse lane and Leyes Lane.

More details can be found on the WCC website.
