Firefighters needed to rescue people from BMW stuck in flooded road
Firefighters were called to rescue passengers from a BMW which was stuck on a flooded piece of road last night.
On call crews from Henley Fire Station were called to Salters Lane in Henley at 0.45am this morning (February 18) where the car was stuck underneath the railway bridge.
Two people had to be helped to safety, and the crews did not return back to the station until 2am.
"Two persons were helped to safety in this incident, which goes on to reinforce the message of not driving through any flood water," a service spokesperson said.
"No matter how shallow it appears!"
