As group events begin to be organised again we have launched our 'Event of the Week' article to shine a spotlight on what's on in Kenilworth.

There are many events taking place in Kenilworth, which you can find in our recently revamped What's On section.

Our top pick from local events this week is the Odibourne Allotment Open Day.

The annual open day at Odibourne Allotments in Kenilworth will be held this Sunday (August 22).

The extended opening hours introduced last year have been retained for 2021, with residents invited to attend from 12pm to 4pm with entry via the School Lane/Manor Road gate.

However, this year the tea and Pimms tents will be returning and there will be a produce stall as well as ice creams.

And like every year there will be plots to inspect and the chance to see this year's entrants to the scarecrow competition.

Whilst there is no entry fee, attendees are invited to give a donation, a proportion of which will be given to the Mayor of Kenilworth's nominated charities.

Find out more here.

You can list your events - e.g. shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, local markets, steak nights at the local pub, jazz choir rehearsals, or anything else - on our What's On page FREE of charge, just click this link and then click the black 'Nub It' button.
