Council warns motorists to expect disruption ahead of A46 bridge closure this weekend

The council has warned motorists to expect disruption following the announcement that the bridge over the A46 will be closed.
Warwick County Council shared the Stoneleigh Road bridge over the A46 will be closed from midnight tonight (24 July), as part of the A46 Stoneleigh Junction Improvement Scheme
The closure will be in place until midnight on Sunday (26 July) to allow for improvement works on the existing bridge.
The council shared: "We appreciate this may cause some disruption and have scheduled works overnight to minimise impact.
"We'll remove road closure earlier if works are completed ahead of schedule."
WCC also thanked motorists for their patience.
During the closure, a signed diversion route will be in place.
