The winners of the annual Christmas tree competition at St Nicholas Church have been announced.

Inner Wheel took the prize for the adult competition with the children's group going to Castle Nursery and St John's Primary School taking the school prize.

The competition, which returned to the church after being held in the shopfronts last year, raised over £900 for the Youth Wellbeing Hub Fund at the Kenilworth Centre.

In total 30 trees were displayed in the Abbey Fields church, and they were available for viewing over the weekend.

And despite the late cancellation of the town's light switch on event, the church stayed open on Friday night for visitors to come and see.

Money was raised as visitors paid to vote for their favourite design.
