Kenilworth Christmas tree competition winners announced

The winners of Kenilworth's annual Christmas tree competition have been announced this week
Usually held in the church building of St Nicholas', the festival this year has been taking place at different locations across the town.
In total 30 different groups and organisations have taken part. The full list and their locations can be found by following this link.
As well as businesses, the Chamber of Trade and the WI, many of the local schools and scout and brownie groups have participated.
Their trees were on display to the public between December 5 and 13, however some will be remaining throughout the Christmas period.
The winners were decided by the Town Clerk Maggie Field and event organiser Sue Draper who said "it was a tough decision as they were all so creative."
Prizes have been awarded for children's groups as well as adult groups.
4th Kenilworth Scouts took first prize for children, with first place being shared by St Nicholas Bell Ringers & Inner Wheel.
The three winning trees can be seen in the gallery at the top of the page.
The festival this year is being run in connection with Plastic Free Kenilworth, and funds are being raised by donations to a JustGiving page. This can be accessed by following this link.
