Chef demo to mark opening of show home at 99-house development in Kenilworth
A chef will be giving a culinary masterclass in the kitchen of a new show home which is being opened in Kenilworth.
Trevor Blake, regional head chef for Peach Pubs, which runs The Almanack in Kenilworth, will be demonstrating how to cook the perfect brunch at the opening of Miller Homes' new show home at Southcrest Rise, Glasshouse Lane, on Saturday, April 29.
Trevor will be whipping up poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce between midday and 2pm in the kitchen of the five-bedroom show home at Southcrest Rise, where 99 new homes are being built.
Visitors will also be offered some of The Almanack's delicious brownies, as well as drinks and nibbles, while they look around the show home.
Alastair Parsons, area sales director for Miller Homes Midlands, said: "The show home kitchen at Southcrest Rise is a stunning room and ideal for cooking a leisurely weekend breakfast in, so this demonstration from Trevor is the perfect way to show the space in action.
"We're looking forward to welcoming people along so they can learn how to perfect their egg poaching while looking around the new five-bedroom show home, which has been expertly decorated and styled by our team of interior designers."
Miller Homes is set to welcome the first residents to Southcrest Rise in Summer 2023 and will be contributing more than £2 million to the local area as part of the development.
The money will be spent on education, transport and sporting facilities, with more than £980,000 to go towards early years, primary and secondary education and £176,721 set to go towards creating a new community centre.
