Charity collection box stolen from Kenilworth chippy

A charity collection box was stolen from a Kenilworth chippy after theives smashed the front door of the shop.

Offenders broke into Whitemoor Road Chippy, Whitemoor Road, overnight between Saturday, November 13 and Sunday 14.

A Myton Hospice Charity Collection box was stolen.

The break in is one of five separate incidents reported by Kenilworth Watch in the past week.

Other thefts have seen two motor vehicles, a catalytic converter and car license plates stolen.

As well as the chippy Whitemoor Road is also now home to Smithtons Food Market which opened at the beginning of November.

A Kenilworth Watch spokesperson said: "Please be aware that overnight between Saturday 13 November and Sunday 14 November 2021 offenders have smashed the front door of Whitemoor Fish Bar, Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth.

"The offenders the stole the contents of a Myton Hospice charity collection box."
