Affordable housing provider finds tenants for kitchens at South Warwickshire living schemes
A not-for-profit housing provider has found tenants for five new commercial kitchens, including three in Warwickshire.
Orbit has now found people to run the kitchens at Tithe Lodge in Southam, Warwickshire, Briar Croft in Stratford upon Avon, Queensway Court in Leamington Spa Caesar Court in Deal, Kent, and St Bede's in Bedford.
All five kitchens are at independent living schemes run by Orbit and are open to the public as well as to residents.
The deals - which were wrapped up when a deal for Tithe Lodge completed this week - have been managed by property agency Bromwich Hardy.
"Each of these kitchens is sizeable, has an extensive dining area and separate café, serving both the retirement village and the wider community, and offers a fantastic chance for tenants to grow a really thriving business," said Surveyor Caine Gilchrist
"Opportunities such as these do not come along very often and we have been able to use our national contacts to secure excellent deals for our client.
"We are delighted to have let all five sites so quickly."
Robert Field, from Orbit, added: "It has been a pleasure to work with Bromwich Hardy on these deals.
"They have worked tirelessly to find tenants for the five sites and we are delighted with the results. We look forward to a highly successful future at all five sites."
Orbit was first launched in 1967 to help tackle homelessness.
Today the organisations manages around 45,000 affordable homes in in the Midlands, East and South East of England, and builds around 1,500 new affordable homes every year.
