A Kenilworth café is now offering cut-price hot drinks every Wednesday as it launches an over 60's club.

Milk and Mocha on Warwick Road - formerly Delightful Desserts - launched the new initiative at the start of August, the latest in a number of community events it has hosted.

Now every Wednesday the town centre venue is offering tea and coffee for just £1 to any customer over the age of 60 from 9am to 1pm.

There will also be board games, newspapers and computers on offer - as well as the opportunity to meet new people.

"Over 60? And want to meet new people? Then every Wednesday from 9 till 1, come and grab a coffee or tea for £1 and knit, read and/or talk to others," Milk and Mocha posted on social media after the first event.

"Lovely to see so many of you today.

"If you don't look over 60 ID may be required!"

Milk and Mocha reopened its doors last November after the owners were forced to rebrand from Delightful Deserts.

Giving back to the community was a key theme when the eatery reopened, as owner Farida Butt explained to Nub News at the time.

In the first month of trading the business capped hot drinks at £1 and offered the space as a warm hub for locals struggling with the cost of living crisis.
