The traditional Boxing Day event at Kenilworth Castle is set to return this week.

Locals are invited down to the town's main tourist attraction from 10am until 12noon on Friday 26 December.

Organised by Kenilworth Town Council, the event finishes in time for the Duck Race in Abbey Fields.

The council said: "All residents and visitors are invited to join the Mayor of Kenilworth on Boxing Day at The Castle!

"From 10am until 12 noon come down to the castle (free entry) and enjoy festive music, morris dancing and a special visit from Ed Froggle with his magical balloon making skills!

"The tearooms will be open and don't forget the Kenilworth Lions Duck Race begins straight afterwards in Abbey Fields!"
