Police are appealing for information after a dog bite left a man with a "serious injury".

A CCTV image has been shared following the incident at Earlswood Lakes on Sunday 26 October.

A man in his 30's was out jogging with a friend when a loose black dog - believed to be a German Shepherd - bit him on the arm.

The dog let go and continued to chase him, biting him again.

A man from the family walked with the victim for some way - but left without leaving any details.

"It is very important that we speak with the woman in this CCTV image, or the man who was with her at the time," a Warwickshire Police statement said.

"We are gathering CCTV and working to trace their vehicle registration plate, but we would encourage them to contact us directly.

"Please call 101 giving investigation reference 23/47054/25."

The incident reportedly happened at 9.40am.
